By the grace of God, Brittany McCormick has transformed a life of extraordinary challenges into a powerful testimony of faith, courage, and hope. Living with cerebral palsy and quadriplegia, she continues to defy expectations and prove that limitations do not define a person’s purpose. Her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ is the foundation that gives her strength to keep moving forward.
Brittany is passionate about inspiring people to believe that their lives matter and that God has a unique purpose for each of them. Through her personal journey, she encourages audiences to overcome adversity, embrace resilience, and live with hope.
In 2022, Brittany launched a BackaBuddy campaign to raise funds for a special needs school. As part of the campaign, she completed an incredible 100 km treadmill walk to support the children. She also participated in the Justice League Series, dedicating one of her races to honour people living with disabilities. Over six months, she walked more than 200 km on the treadmill, demonstrating that faith, determination, and perseverance can take you further than you ever imagined.
In 2026, Brittany launched the Core of Courage campaign through BackaBuddy to raise funds for the QSASA Foundation’s Employment Programme, where she is currently a participant. As part of the campaign, she committed to completing 100 sit-ups and a 20-minute plank every day for seven months, using her challenge to inspire others while advocating for greater opportunities for people living with disabilities.
Her message has reached audiences around the world. Brittany has shared her story at the Amplify Her Voice International Conference, which reached viewers in 159 countries, and has appeared on platforms including Super Teachers Unite and Queens of Manifesting.
As a motivational speaker, Brittany has inspired audiences at Growth Credo, Ladies of All Nations South Africa, Life Streams International Church, Rock Mining Components, Insure Group, Company Partners, Confidant Woman in Business, Durbanville Baptist Church, and the Subrena Love Foundation.
