Chantelle believes that we are all destined to live lives of purpose and to find the courage to pursue that purpose. In 2019, she birthed Dragonfly – a coaching consultancy that inspires and empowers people to find their purpose and roll out a strategy to pursue or create their dream job.

Chantelle was a runner up in the 2021 global Entrepreneur X-Factor competition, and in the 2023 PSASA (Professional Speakers Association of Southern Africa) Speaker Factor, has spoken on numerous podcasts and webinars, and has worked with clients on every continent. Her purpose is to lead people on a courageous I AM journey to help them find their WAY with various talks on Purpose, Career, and Mindset.

I AM is the journey, not the destination. We are so caught up trying to define ourselves with static identities yet when we embrace a fluid identity, one that has change at its core, we create freedom. Three action principles:

Networking Like a Boss

Networking is one of the most misunderstood tools available for leveraging career growth and purpose. Three essential components:

  • Preparation – analysing your existing and wanted network.
  • Action – mapping a strategy to connect with your desired network.
  • Building and nurturing relationships for the long term.

People can only do what people have never done before; AI can only do what a human has done. Networking remains our biggest differentiator and most under-utilised career growth tool.

Career Growth on Steroids

Whether you are pursuing a promotion or a new role entirely, a purpose driven career development map involves three key aspects:

  • Value and goal clarity – who are you, what value do you bring, and where are you going.
  • Supporting resources – CV, LinkedIn etc.
  • Defining a viable strategy including networking.

Career dissatisfaction and low engagement is often due to a lack of clarity, unclear communication and no actionable strategy. This talk can be subdivided into multiple topics.
